Positions That Could Blow Up a D Campaign

At Brookings, Elaine Kamarck lists five issue positions that could blow up a D campaign in the fall:

1. Allowing prisoners to vote;
2. Ending all restrictions on abortion;
3. Abolishing private health insurance;
4. Abolishing ICE;
5. Embracing socialism.

She might also have added two more:

• Decriminalizing unauthorized border entry;
• Providing government health care to undocumented migrants.
